Three Rivers Health Auxiliary Names Medical Scholarship Recipients

The Three Rivers Health Auxiliary team has announced five area recipients to receive scholarships totaling $5,000 for medical scholarships.

Those students each receiving a $1,000 scholarship includes the following: Kira Ranee’ Wright (Three Rivers), attending Kalamazoo Valley Community College; Maegan Saunders (Mattawan), Grand Valley State University; Joshua First (Dowagiac), Southwestern Michigan College; Erin Garbine (Sturgis), Goshen College; and Lindsay Walker (Marcellus), Goshen College.

The Three Rivers Health Auxiliary has proudly continued its tradition of naming medical scholarship award winners over the past several years. Those considered for the scholarship must have a family member that is either employed or volunteers their time at Three Rivers Health.

“Most all of our future fundraisers will go toward the scholarship fund,” cited Three Rivers Health Auxiliary President Glenda Fultz. “It gives all of us a sense that what we do here, truly does matter.”

The Three Rivers Health Auxiliary continues its long-standing commitment in helping college students realize their medical career goals.

“The Auxiliary team has given generously for many years to help others realize their medical aspirations,” stressed David Casterline, Executive Director of the Three Rivers Health Foundation.  “We are certainly blessed to have over 100 volunteer Auxiliary team members at Three Rivers Health that continue to make a positive difference in the lives of so many people.”
