Three Rivers Health Announces Interim CEO

THREE RIVERS, MI (January 12, 2018) – The Board of Three Rivers Health (TRH) has accepted the resignation of Chief Executive Officer, William Russell, who leaves TRH after nine years of service. Effective immediately, healthcare veteran David A. Shannon will join TRH to serve as Interim CEO.

David Shannon is a seasoned hospital executive with Quorum Health Resources, which provides TRH with hospital management and specialized consulting services. He has held both Interim and long-term executive positions with hospitals across the country, most recently serving in a transitional president and chief executive officer role in Pennsylvania’s Jersey Shore Hospital. Prior to that, Shannon held a 20-year position as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer with Penobscot Valley Hospital in Maine.
