Anne Pearcy Named Employee of the Year
April 20, 2018
Three Rivers Health recently celebrated its second annual employee “Gala” with nearly 200 people attending the dinner and special recognition ceremonies at a Place In Time in Three Rivers. Numerous employees were honored for their many years of service and the evening culminated with the naming of its “Employee of the Year.” The 2017 recipient is Anne Pearcy.
“It’s a huge honor for me and I was completely shocked … I just love my job and the people I work with,” beamed Pearcy. “I give the best of me while I’m here working and I’m very grateful.”
Each quarter throughout 2017, five employees were nominated/selected by their departmental supervisors as the “Employee of the Quarter” – each recognized for their extraordinary commitment and work ethic to Three Rivers Health. Of those 20 employees earning quarterly honors throughout the year, Pearcy was then ultimately selected by her some 500-plus peers as their top choice.
Pearcy has been at Three Rivers Health for 19 years – all as a lab assistant.
“It’s gratifying to me for having interacted with so many people and I hope I make a positive difference in my role here,” shared Pearcy. “I have a blessed life with a great husband and three amazing kids. Live life being grateful and be happy where you are in life … because life just goes very fast.”
Others that were recognized as finalists for the Employee of the Year included: Chris Hesher, Nikki Pelikan, Tina Wyman, Sherre Christiansen, Lisa Ladd, Margaret Mead, Audra Parker, Bonnie Broadhurst, Jeri Halon, Theresa Montmorency, Ed Stevens, Mindy Williams, Jody Alger, Michael Byslma, Julianne Downes, Dawn Kolbe, Chris Menz, Julie Allen and Erin Garbine.
Special recognition was also given to Sara Daniels, who recently retired after 16 years of dedicated service as Human Resources Manager at Three Rivers Health.
“It was a memorable evening of recognition for numerous people on our team – dedicated people who have all served in so many critical capacities at Three Rivers Health for a number of years,” stressed David Casterline, Executive Director of the Three Rivers Health Foundation. “We certainly do have an awesome team here that works very well together.”
